Raksystems boosts its design expertise by acquiring Insinööritoimisto R J Heiskanen Oy

Raksystems Insinööritoimisto Oy, one of Finland’s largest real estate industry expert companies, is improving its design expertise by acquiring engineering office Insinööritoimisto R J Heiskanen Oy. Established in 1969, Insinööritoimisto R J Heiskanen Oy is currently one of Finland’s best known and most valued structural engineering firms.

The acquisition supports Raksystems’ strategy by growing its clientele and engineering service portfolio, especially in Uusimaa and other parts of southern Finland. R J Heiskanen has valuable, extensive expertise in the structural engineering of commercial and service properties, for example.

The acquisition is a natural continuum of the acquisition of AEC Projektinjohto Oy two years ago. The several decades of experience, extensive clientele and recognition of R J Heiskanen, in particular, will excellently assist Raksystems in its path towards increased engineering service expertise,” says Marko Malmivaara, the Managing Director of Raksystems Insinööritoimisto Oy.

R J Heiskanen will continue its operations as part of Raksystems. Relationships with the current customers will not change. Marko Malmivaara will be the company’s new Managing Director.
